Did you find your answer yet? I am using SCPM with grub as well, but I haven't attempted to setup the bootup thing yet. I think that you can just modify a line in /boot/grub/menu.lst. You should be able to simply append "PROFILE=home" to the following line kernel /boot/vmlinuz.shipped root=/dev/hda2 vga=788 which would give you something like this: kernel /boot/vmlinuz.shipped root=/dev/hda2 vga=788 PROFILE=home This is just my guess, I'm going to actually try this over the holidays. I looked in /etc/init.d/boot.scpm, and it is using a variable named $PROFILE, but I'm not exactly sure where that is coming from, I think it is being setup by the "PROFILE=home" kernel parameter, but that is just a guess. Hope that helps. I get back with you after the holidays and let you know if I find anything new/useful. - Lowell -----Original Message----- From: Joe Fialkowski [mailto:jfialkowski@comcast.net] Sent: Saturday, November 02, 2002 8:34 PM To: suse-linux-e@suse.com Subject: [SLE] Help with SCPM with grub Hi List, Does anyone know how to call scpm profiles on bootup with grub?
