9.0 to 9.1 Nobody has permission for /dev/null
Hi all I have been having a bunch of weirdness after an upgrade to 9.1. I think it has to do with the fact that NONE of the users have permission to write to /dev/null (well except for root). The problem is that I don't know where to set this permission. Can anyone tell me?

su to root and use chmod. For example "chmod 666 /dev/null".

Aside from the solutions others have posted, if you're using wvdial be sure to run the online update. The wvdial package in 9.1 caused bad permissions on /dev/null
