310.32 still doesn't find the new location of version.h and complains about not configured kernel sources with 3.7. You still need to make the workaround link. So it's no improvement over 310.19. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Ooops, you're probably right - I forgot to remove the symlink I have for the 3.7.3 kernel :-( . But at least there is a new driver :-) . (And I was told that nVidia were told about the location change sometime ago and that nVidia works very closely with openSUSE on these matters. So why is the driver still stuffed?) Would someone please supply the "workaround" symlink and where it should be placed? Thanks, Tom -- A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. See https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=795837 You may need to adapt the directory to the kernel version , you are running. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

This is courtesy of my old pal Patrick "Stings Like a Bee" Shanahan: as root issue in a terminal the command: cd /lib/modules/3.7.X-desktop/build/include [ENTER] then ln -s generated/uapi/linux [ENTER] go to init 3 and install the driver in the normal way.
