Just a quick question here, what are the advantages to using a 'AGP' video card versus a standard 'PCI' card ?
The December 97 "PC World" had a review of current boards showing no advantage over PCI versions. Eventually game software will appear which take advantage of the AGP 3D texture capabilities. However, most current boards don't even have the AGP "guts" that provide this feature! They are simply bus compatible. -Bill -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
