[opensuse] Silverlight
I wanted to know what the roadmap is for silverlight on Linux. Anybody have an idea. I visited the website http://www.mono-project.com/news/archive/2007/May-05.html and the link was almost a year old. -- kai www.filesite.org || www.4thedadz.com || www.perfectreign.com remember - a turn signal is a statement, not a request -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Personally, I think that bringing up a development platform to imitate one which MS has control of (and which can therefore be jerked around by MS at will) is strategically silly. All it does is make Linux users beholden to MS. Wine is one thing - -it eases the transition of of MS products. But mono and silverlight... I see more bad than good...it ends up being yet another game of chase-the-monster or that of Charlie Brown and Lucy with the football... No, really, we won't change everything at the last moment like we did before...TRUST US. yeah right. -- ARK -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

So, what you're really asking is "what is microsofts roadmap for linux?", right? Believe me, you don't want to know. Joe -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Oh, I know what they want. I believe Mr. Ballmer said something to the effect of, "we will bury you!"
