Good day list, I have been very impressed with SUSE 9.3 Pro, and am considering replacing my Mandrake 10.1 (main O.S.) but am sort of concerned that after a month goes by, I'll get some notice saying 9.3 Pro was a trial version. IRC, Novell provided SUSE 9.3 Pro as a free downloadable trial in the past. Since the beginning of Aug 1st, has there been a change in the iso's provided so that they are full, non-time restricted - version of SUSE that will not expire in any way? TIA Steve

9.3 is freely downloadable. The download versions lacks any support that you get with the box itself and some binary only commercial packages. It is not limited otherwise.

The SUSE Linux Professional versions on the ftp site do not expire. (The lifetime of the SUSE Linux line is 2 years.) Ciao, Marcus

SuSE 9.3 is freely available for download, as have all SuSE versions been in the past. (I don't remember any trial version with a time-limit). Start here: ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/suse or here: http://www.opensuse.org/index.php/Download /Per Jessen, Zürich -- http://www.spamchek.com/freetrial - managed anti-spam and anti-virus solution.
