[SLE] The support database (SDB) is too old
Hi everyone, The support database (SDB) is too old. I mean it The below is from the original SDB on the internet. Solution: Every night S.u.S.E. creates a package of the up-to-date SDB documents and puts it on its ftp server in the directory ftp://ftp.suse.com/suse_update/misc/ in RPM and TGZ format. Since rpm also contains an FTP client, it is possible to easily update the local SDB with the command rpm -U ftp://ftp.suse.com/suse_update/misc/sdb.rpm I am getting blind I just cant find such a directory can someone point the new location if it exists. thx -- Togan Muftuoglu toganm@yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Togan: I went to the S.u.S.E. ftp site and searched through their 7M index file of the site and did not find anything specifically offered as an update to the support data base. This doesn't mean that there isn't one, however. Try their web site and see if a support data base search would yield any results. Sorry I couldn't help more. Euraka, The correct link should be as below. I personally think in the following months people at Suse spend some time in updating their web information. ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/noarch/sdb/
