I'm attempting to install SUSE 8.0 on a Dell Poweredge 6300, but the stock kernel doesn't seem to be initializing the RAID controllers and therefore I am unable to access the harddrives. On boot I am seeing 2 AIC7890's and one AIC7860 controller. A lsmod shows the aic7xxx module loaded, but unused. The Yast2 setup reports no harddrives found. I've tried rmmod-ing the module and re-insmod-ing the module with a few parameters I found on a couple of google searches, but still no dice. I also tried running modprobe...scsi_hostadapter manually to no avail. Any other ideas?
