[opensuse] Apropos tomboy (A simple note-taking application for Gnome)
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, This is an application I find very useful. I use it in xfce, not gnome. I have now tons of notes. Instead of writing plain text files and keep it in a directory, I write a note in tomboy. You can have links from one to other, or to external files or webpages, and have some simple formatting (too simple some times). I only have a nagging problem with it: how can I sync notes between two or more computers? Somebody has done it? - -- Cheers Carlos E. R. I never tried synch among different computers. I thought you could be able to do that by synch those computers with WebDAV or Tomboy Web (using Preferences on Tomboy Synchronization). How to sync Tomboy with Ubuntu One on Linux Mint 13
I just noticed some add-ons on the preferences of tomboy. One is named "SSH Sync Service Add-in". I enabled it but I don't see anything new.
I'm late to this party (as usual), and just wanted to point out that Ubuntu One is going away and has announced end of life. Also wanted to mention NixNote http://nevernote.sourceforge.net/ which is a java implimentation of Evernote. - -- _____________________________________ - ---This space for rent--- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (MingW32) iEYEARECAAYFAlNYG1cACgkQv7M3G5+2DLL27wCeP/wTReGMFmG7De23TPfMIdzp 4SwAn3tLOsjfiFbkHLfL/2I6dCg1dXQ6 =YEyl -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
