This is on a brand new PC purchased this month from Monarch Computer Systems. They are now offering to pre-install Suse 10 but were not when I ordered the system 3 weeks ago. Thanks Paul. Tried powering off and back on but no help. Still comes up with "GRUB Loading stage1.5.". Just to see if the hard drive is accessable I tried to load it with FreeDOS, which is usually easy and quick to do. Although I can access the hard drive I still can't boot to it. Here's what happened... - Booted to FreeDOS floppy - FDisk worked fine removing the linux partitions and creating the DOS partitions. - formatted using FORMAT - copied files to the harddrive - tried to boot but failed with same message "GRUB Loading stage1.5." - if I boot to the floopy i can access the harddrive fine (C:), all the files I copied are there, just can't boot. Any ideas? Matt
