[opensuse] No USB on 11.3
Since 11.4 wouldn't work on my ThinkPad R31, I installed 11.3. However, one problem I've noticed is that I cannot see a USB drive. I've plugged into both the built in USB 1 port and also a PCMCIA USB 2 port and neither work. It is detected, according to dmesg, but doesn't show as being assigned a mount point. USB drives should be appearing as /dev/sdb Suggestions? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

What's the relevant part of dmesg looking like? Can you mount it manually? -- Bye, Stephan Barth Novell Technical Services, Worldwide Support Services Linux SUSE LINUX GmbH, GF: Felix Imendörffer, HRB 21284 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstr. 5, D-90409 Nuremberg -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
