Not sure myself, but I did like the ability under Debian to use apt-get from a command line. I found apt on sourceforge.net with SuSE 7.3 rpm's. http://apt4rpm.sourceforge.net/ /Dee

The way I understand it you can configure it to use any apt server you want but of course you will only want to use SuSE specific servers. The repository at gwdg.de points primarily to the SuSE servers. It's apt4rpm database provides the information apt-get needs to install RPM packages from SuSE You may want to look at this site http://linux01.gwdg.de/apt4rpm/ it has info specific to SuSE and apt
