If you had an iphone you would probably already know this so I assumed you are still shopping. Get android instead. Better phone, more open. No antenna problems.
Well... its a version 3 iphone. On my 11.2 box, it is not mounted anywhere, certainly not under /media (here I run fvwm) I just installed an 11.3 laptop - set it to use LXDE to start with. In LXDE, plugging in the iPhone caused a popup which offered me to "open" the device in the filemanager (among other things). Doing so showed me an empty Photos directory - even though I have two photos in there. Any recommendations on how to mount that thing on the CLI? (Yes, someday I'll switch to an Android...) Visit Jailbreakme.com in your iPhone, "Slide to Jailbreak" and after it reboots you should see a new icon on your springboard "Cydia" open that up and install openSSH then on your PC open My Computer -> Network Folders -> Add Network folder and enter the info for your iPhone for an SCP connection. Default root password is alpine. Now you have full access to your iPhone filesystem, I am not aware of another way to do it. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
