I am running SuSE9.0/KDE3.2.1 and decide that I would like to take a look at Xiamian DeskTop and installed 2. However, I elected to skip the installation step that would have made DeskTop the default as I want to retain KDE during the evaluation. How do I start Xiamian Desktop rather than KDE? I boot the machine into run level 3. Thanks in advance. -- Stephen P. startx /opt/gnome/bin/gnome-session To make it the default, edit /etc/sysconfig/windowmanager and set DEFAULT_WM to /opt/gnome/bin/gnome-session and run SuSEconfig --module profiles
