I get the same message if I do this, for example: http://localhost/home/adriel/double-entry.html

I think I need to do something...somewhere. Does anyone know what it is?

DocumentRoot in 8.2 and 9.0 is /srv/www/htdocs/, so the package should be /srv/www/htdocs/sql-ledger, there is a way to get it to look in other places also by adding lines to /etc/apache2/default-server.conf, but I can't remember if it's by adding to DocumentRoot, but you could do it by assigning a new ScriptAlias, the format can be seen looking at the entry for cgi-bin.
