Has anyone managed to make Kylix 3 OE work on SuSE 9.2? I get the following error when trying to run 'startdelphi' from the command line: /usr/local/kylix3/bin/delphi: relocation error: /usr/local/kylix3/bin/libwine.borland.so: symbol errno, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference Kylix seems to be forgotten by Borland now - no updates since 2002. I use kylix 3 open edition kernel-default-2.6.8-24.11 works xorg-x11-6.8.1-15.4 works (but 6.8.2 does *not* work!) kde-3.4.0-rc1 works A few things that might help: - delete ~/.kderc - as Francesco already wrote: export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=... various values are possible (google for kylix and LD_ASSUME_KERNEL) - install the web core fonts (http://corefonts.sf.net/) (but skip verdana!) Another source worth exploring is: http://unvclx.sf.net/. Cheers, Leen
