I am using openSUSE 11 with KDE 3.5.9 on Inspiron 600m. I have installed KDE4 from one click installer to try it out. Since then, even when I am using previous KDE version, the volume control buttons don't work and closing the lid have no effect. What went wrong and how do I fix it? -- skx, http://skxpl.eu.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Try to use another user for KDE4 alone and see if that makes difference. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

OK, but I don't want to use KDE4, for now I'm using just KDE3. How do I make these buttons work again under KDE3? -- skx, http://skxpl.eu.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
