What Linux administration books are recommended by this list? I am running SuSE 8.2 Pro at home and work and I have an additional server that is running RH 7.3 at work. I would like to have something general enough to serve both distros but I want the most help in SuSE since that is my preferred distro. TIA, Darrell Cormier

Reading it now. And I can recommend it. Still not suffering from S.A.P.S. ;->

for linux in general....the oreilly books are a good place to start..for suse specific linux stuff....there really aren't any good books I know of. I've looked on amazon...you can find redhat specific books which are pretty good references, but none that are relevant for suse. I did find some OLD suse books, but I doubt they'll help. This "linux admin" book is about as good as it gets for now.... so...if you want to learn suse....do as the rest of us do...read the docs which are located at /usr/share/doc/packages Good luck! Oskar
