I am running SuSE 8.1 as an internet gateway for a small network. Recently I've noticed an increased activity on hard disk access on this server which stops when I kill process -:0, which is started by /opt/kde3/bin/kdm. I do not really know what -:0 does but I haven't had any problems killing it. My question is: is this a valid process and then what does it do? Thanks, Carlos
