[SLE] 3Com Ethernet card (3c905B) don't run with 2.2.16-SuSE.
Hi, I updated the kernel of my SuSE 6.4, but the module 3c90x don't recognize my network card, with 2.2.14-SuSE all run OK, the module in the 2.2.14 kernel is 1.0.0, and in 2.2.16 is 1.0.0i, with 2.2.16 when the system boot and try to configure eth0 fail whit a SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such device. My english is very bad, sorry. Hello, It sounds very strange. I just upgraded my computer at work that has the same 3Com 905B NIC to 2.2.16 kernel. I didn't notice any difference after I rebooted the system. Try to compile this card driver not as a module but directly into the kernel . May be this will solve your problem. Regards. Alex
