HI AGAIN!

I'm using SuSE 5.2. If I have a program on a CD that I want to install on my computer, can I use YaST? This CD is NOT the SuSE install CD. I think that I can, but can not find a howto.

i'm pretty sure you can do it. try this. adjustments of installation->choose your source then, choose/install packages->install packages i _think_ then you can choose which packages you want. not gonna swear to it, though. ;) it might be that you have to change/create config first...but it was my impression while fiddling, that the top menu in choose/install packages was just for the suse cd's.... -derek - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
