Hello, If I install this IDE-SCSI bridge adapter: http://www.acard.com/eng/product/scside/aec-7723.html to run my existing IDE drive on my SCSI chain, will I still be able to boot my SuSE 7.3 installation from the hard drive? I'm not sure what happens with all the /dev/hdX stuff because the system would see the drive as a SCSI drive instead of IDE. I've read the acard online docs but this question is not addressed. I also e-mailed acard support, no response... Any thoughts? This is the SCSI controller card: http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/support/suppdetail.html?sess=no&prodkey=AHA-2940U2W Thanks!
