Does anyone know if 6.0 will support this motherboard? It's a Digital Alpha PCI 64-275. Also, does this board support regular SIMMS or is it special ram? Thinking of building myself a hotrod. Thanks again. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at <A HREF="http://www.hotmail.com</A">http://www.hotmail.com</A> - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A>

S.u.S.E. 6.0 is an intel release. Alpha support, as stated in the faq, will come _after_ the intel release of S.u.S.E. 6.0. I think Lenz just answered a similar question earlier. I have no idea what the target date is ( and maybe they aren't sure or are keeping it mum ) , but from what I seem to recall it's one of the next things on the board. I think they want to get a smoothly working glibc transition release for intel up and running beautifully first, before looking at other ports. I think the guys at S.u.S.E. hear the demand, but have a priority schedule to fulfill with the next 6.0 being somewhere at the top. -M - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A> and the archiv at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A>
