Dear All, I get while booting up my laptop this single error-message: Oct 4 18:50:46 khazad-dum [powersaved][3940]: WARNING in Function ACPI_Interface; line 26: could not set battery alarm, you may need to force polling mode. Exept of this, everything seems be OK; no other error messages concerning ACPI, or related. But the interesting with the above error-message is, that I have exactly the suggested settings as in /etc/powersave.conf stands POWERSAVED_FORCE_BATTERY_POLLING=yes Any ideas? Thanks, Peli
