[opensuse] What detects the file system on an iPod
My 30G iPod has stopped mounting. when I check dmesg I get the following message: VFS: Can't find a valid FAT filesystem on dev sdb1 when I manually mount using mount -t vfat /dev/sdb2 /mnt It mounts perfectly telling me the filesystem on the device is fine. Something in hot plug maybe? TIA Bruce -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Read the message, it says that there is no valid FAT filsystem on *sdb1* but you are mouting *sdb2* manually. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
