I recently downloaded and installed Mozilla on my 8.1 box. I am a newbie so be gentle please. I can get mozilla started by running #sh run-mozilla.sh from /usr/local/mozilla but I was wondering how I would go about creating a shortcut or icon from a menu that would allow me to do the same thing. I attempted to add a 'button' and putting 'sh /usr/local/mozilla/run-mozilla.sh' on the command line with no success. Also - when I attempt #sh /usr/local/mozilla/run-mozilla.sh from any other directory it reports run-mozilla.sh: Cannot execute. Guidance is appreciated. _________________________________________________________________ Add photos to your e-mail with MSN 8. Are you running kde or gnome, or another window manager/desktop? In kde you can right click on the desktop > choose create new > link to application. In the execute tab add the path, or browse to the path where your mozilla is. You can also choose the icon from the mozilla directory. I think you can add it to the panel by first creating it in the SuSE menu using menu editor(system>configuration or tools or filesystem tools) then choosing it by right clicking on the panel > panel > add > button> and choose the mozilla you just made. Or just choose another application, rename it, change the icon, and change the path Hope that helped. also you should be able to run it with
/usr/local/mozilla/mozilla, if the mozilla binary is in a folder mozilla in /usr/local.
Why is your prompt a # ?
Your not playing as root are you?
