Re: [opensuse] NVidia Dual Head
Hi, at home I use a humble nVidia GeForce 6200 LE card (no idea whether this is good or bad, it just works) and it supports dual-head like a charm even with OpenGL and 3D acceleration. I would also recommend using the NVIDIA X server settings to set up the dual head display instead of YaST/sax2. You can find it under
gecko -> System -> Configuration
Again, I think you'll need the binary nvidia driver to have/use this.

Spoke a little too sonn. It is working, but all I can manage to to get is 640x480 on the external monitor. Any suggestions?
Thanks, James

Mine are not the same. Laptop display at 1680x1050 and, in this case, an external CTX 19" monitor that support 1280x1024. James -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
