Hello, I have every month to attend a meeting using microsoft team. I do so by clicking on a link provided. For this I had to install the team linux client. I use 15.3/kde it works without problem, but... at any session login team start again: at start it adds itself to the autologin system of kde, I can see it in the kde setup. I can also remove it fir there, but it come back each time I use team... is there a way to forgive team to write it's autoload system? thanks jdd -- mon serveur usenet: dodin.fr.nf c'est quoi, usenet? http://www.dodin.org/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=Usenet.Usenet

I didn't know anything about insider (I not a Microsoft guru :-(), but replaced team with team-insider I don't know if it's this that changed anything, I couldn't find the parameters inside team itself, but right clicking on the remaining icon in my taskbar I found it and there I have a tick box for restarting (or not) team. That should be the solution (I can't logout right now) thanks for your valuable help :-) jdd -- mon serveur usenet: dodin.fr.nf c'est quoi, usenet? http://www.dodin.org/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=Usenet.Usenet

it's not a cron job for teams, only a link in system files copied each time teams launch but I didn't have team launched this morning, so presumably the silution described in this thread worked thanks jdd -- mon serveur usenet: dodin.fr.nf c'est quoi, usenet? http://www.dodin.org/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=Usenet.Usenet

But I was having a hard time with it. When I started it up, I got a message that said, "Tell the administrator to add you as a member right now". I thought I was in trouble because I was a retiree and not a member of the organization, but to my surprise, I received an e-mail from the organization saying that they had added me as a member, and I could finally use the teams. However, I can't be a nuisance, and since I have zoom, I will have them remove me as a member after a little testing. BTW, my DM is enlightenment, but autologin is available here as well. I remember that teams-insiders was more versatile than teams when I was using it until 2 years ago, but I don't know if it is the same now. I mean, up until 2 years ago, I used teams-insiders as a team owner, and I have never used it as a team member, and now that I can only be a team member, there is no way to compare the two. Is there any difference between teams and teams-insiders other than autologin?
