For postfix to receive Mails from the internet: port 25 tcp To poll mail via POP3 protocol: port 110 tcp to use an imap server from the internet: port 143 tcp To use Webmail with squirrelmail: Port 80 Sandy -- List replies only please! Check /etc/services for the ports used by most applications that use them. In your case it would be port 25 to receive email and port 110 for people to connect to your server and retrieve their email. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998
