YaST switched repos from Factory to UNSTABLE automatically? Did they build some AI into it? It seems unlikely that it changes repos on its own.
1 clic install can do such things jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://valerie.dodin.org http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-eic8MSSfM http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1412160445 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

It's the user that clicks on it and it's the user that reads the repos, that are going to be added. YaST just does what you tell it to. Sven -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

You know Sven, you are one arrogant poster. You do this continuously and act like you know it all. You treat people on this list like they are idiots. Your replies have been aggravating me for a couple of months now, and I am sure many others but whom have been tolerant enough not to call you down for it. Many of them are seasoned professional Linux users, coders, developers, etc. Many of us on this list have been here for years. I don't ever recall seeing your name except in the last couple of months. Yes, we appreciate help, guidance, tips, etc. and you are probably quite knowledegable. So contribute - Don't criticize or assume that we don't know what we are doing or we are doing idiotic things. You think that it is impossible for a software glitch in the one-click? or any other piece of software to do unexpected things? I will tell you right now that the one-click installed the regular "factory" repo and I now have 11.2 alpha 0 running as a result. Went and checked in my list of repos and there it was. I sure as hell did not put it there. Haven't decided what to do about it because this is my "test" machine after all. Not sure how to back out of it because I don't know what is involved So please, continue to contribute, and don't assume that it is impossible for software glitches and we are just all royal f---ups. AFAIK the one-click-installs (simple XML files) were not changed/fixed, so if that repo was added, it still must be part of the XML inside them and hence this error would happen to all people. Unless you might have clicked on the one meant for "opensuse factory", which will add the opensuse factory repo aka 11.2 and the kde4 factory repo. Of course I don't know, but since there were no fixes chances are that you wanted "kde4 factory" and were mislead by the "Factory" in front of the one-click-install. There's no lottery inside the XML.
So please, continue to contribute, and don't assume that it is impossible for software glitches and we are just all royal f---ups.
If you label yourself that way, fair enough, but labeling everybody on this list is a bit harsh. ;) Or was it pluralis majestatis? Sven -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
