[S.u.S.E. Linux] Question to an Kernelupgrade Kernel 2.1.xx ....
Hy there I've just downloaded the new kernel 2.1.97 to try it out. I read the softwarerequirements and saw that it is necessary to upgrade very much. Will the system be instable when I install all this new stuff (especially the new glibc ....) ?? Is there somebody who tryed it ?? I'm running S.u.S.E. 5.1. There are two additional question to all the guys from SuSE. Will the next Version (5.3 ??) depend on glibc/libc6 ?? And, will you include the free simulation software Ptolemy in one of the next releases ??
