Hi all, A friend of mine is trying to install an Epson Stylus C45 (usb) printer on his SuSE 9.3 Pro system. I know there isn't a driver for that particular model, but after some googling, I found a number of other people who had used the C42ux or the C40ux drivers. He has tried all the drivers from C40 through to C44, and none of them seem to work. When printing a test page, he just gets a blank piece of paper. When trying some real printing, he has the same. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have any other ideas? I can find -no- reference to a Stylus C45 printer on Epson's site, are you sure about the model number? Or is this model specific to a particular country? -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998

hmmm... That's interesting... I've just looked for it now and I can't find it either. Though I have seen references to it on linux-printing.org and other sites... Not to worry however, it seems the that printer itself was at fault. When installed on a Windows box, it still wouldn't print. And new cartridges didn't help either.
