Hello all, I need help on this: Upgrade OpenSuSE 11.1 with OpenSwan to OpenSuSE 11.4 with StrongSwan. The problem is: i have a working VPN with a FW1, with this config: /etc/ipsec.conf version 2.0 config setup plutodebug="none" klipsdebug="none" plutoopts="" nat_traversal=no uniqueids=yes OE=off protostack=netkey conn %default leftrsasigkey=%cert rightrsasigkey=%cert conn oasis-fw type=tunnel authby=secret left=x.x.x.x right=x.x.x.x compress=no ike=aes256-md5-modp1536 esp=aes128-md5 keyexchange=ike pfs=no auth=esp auto=start leftsubnet=192.168.201.221/32 rightsubnet=11.3.0.1/24 conn oasis type=tunnel authby=secret leftid=x.x.x.x left=x.x.x.x leftsubnet=192.168.201.0/24 right=x.x.x.x rightsubnet=11.3.0.0/24 compress=no ike=aes256-md5-modp1536 esp=aes128-md5 With this config, on StrongSwan, many errors like: Starting strongSwan 4.5.0 IPsec [starter]... /etc/ipsec.conf:54: syntax error, unexpected STRING [type] unable to start strongSwan -- fatal errors in config failed Now, i don't have too time to learn what is different from OpenSwan to StrongSwan, but how i can easly convert that configuration for StrongSwan? Any hint?
