[opensuse] SPAM: Synchronizing Kontact w/Nokia 6280?
Does anybody have have any information about this topic? I'd like to use bluetooth, but really, any way to synchronize calender and contact information would do. sdptool browse tells me that the Nokia amongst other things has SyncML capability. But I haven't succeeded in getting it to work, and the synchronization module in Kontact doesn't seem to understand SyncML. It doesn't help that I really don't know how SyncML is supposed to work. am I supposed to set up a network link through Obex, or how is the connection going to work? I would like to know what the options are. -- Med venlig hilsen Kaare Rasmussen, Jasonic Jasonic Telefon: +45 3816 2582 Nordre Fasanvej 12 2000 Frederiksberg Email: kaare@jasonic.dk --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I would like to know what the options are. Hi
I attended a conference recently and was told that syncing in linux is supported through Groupwise. From the next version all phones supported by Intellisync would also be supported by Groupwise. Aside from this I would also like to know how syncing with mobile phones in linux can be accomplished. - - -- Regards Kenneth Aar -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFM0ozMrkZx1uu3OwRAl17AKD3v0B+mE4NaGe1F/0EZ3V72y5kHACgxMH5 63cvoRIdaEYJsEbrjGXUz6Q= =vGtY -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Kontact use the obsolete multisync. Please visit http://www.opensync.org and check out the new opensync. Please note: libopensync is still under heavy development. Don't use it without a good backup.

Hi, the problem is also a typical suse problem, because libsync release 0.41 requires openobex 1.1, but suse 10.1 only delivers openobex 1.0.1 rpm. Greets Mirco Zitat von Christopher Stender <opensuse@christopher-stender.de>:

I installed OpenSuse 10.2 with openobex 1.3. but then they don't seem to include libsync. I still have libsync 0.4.1 from 10.1, but I don't think that all the pieces fit together :-( -- Med venlig hilsen Kaare Rasmussen, Jasonic Jasonic Telefon: +45 3816 2582 Nordre Fasanvej 12 2000 Frederiksberg Email: kaare@jasonic.dk --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
