[SLE] Re: SBLive! not working on Intel SuSE 6.4
Someone sent me a note suggesting that I check the BIOS and see if PnP OS was enabled, it was already disabled. I'm having a problem with the emu- driver...when I try to play sound like a .wav, it locks up the system completely. Also, when another program trys to play sound, same results. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq

I just you visit http://www.opensource.creative.com for 2 reasons: (1) emu10k1 there is INFINITELY better than the current version shipped by suse. I experienced an amazing improvement in sound quality, particular when the system is really loaded. Oh, and I recommend that you compile from source, it is more informative (and fun). (2) It's a new shot at your problem...
