[opensuse] 10.2 release schedule questions
Hello, I have a few questions regarding the 10.2 release schedule. Will the RC1 also be available for download and testing? It appears the GM release on Nov. 30 will not be released on public ftp. Is this correct? Will the GM be availabe for purchase? Will the basic network installation structure be established by then so that autoyast installation files built against the RC1 release will work when pointed to a fresh Dec 7 ftp download? These questions will help me understand how valid internal software and configuration tests will be in comparison to the final release and how quickly one could deploy with confidence that what worked in the beta and RC images will continue to work in the final image. Thanks, -Daniel

The GM will be available on the 7th of December. As with every final master a lot of people will download it and we need to really get this to all of our mirrors...

What do you mean here with "basic network installation structure"

If my voice count.. Please.. before release 10.2 GM, check the installation procedure and other basic stuff so there will be no glitch like what happen in 10.1 :-) -- Arie Reynaldi Zanahar reymanx at gmail.com http://www.reynaldi.or.id --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
