SmartComputing Oct.2002 issue has, at the bottom of page 29, three graphs (for each one, the higher the number, the better). L: Number of pages for the getting started manual: Win-XP Home Edition, 22 (of which, 7 are blank); Mac OS X: 35; Red Hat L-7.3: 70. R: Approximate number of processes per second: RH L-7.2, 326; Win2000, 197; WinXP, 160. Approximate number of threads per second: RH L-7.2: 10,200; Win2000, 4,800; WinXP: 6,100. PS: Any chance I'm gonna get W-XP any time soon? Naah! -- Regards, gr (in /usually/ balmy, sunny Florida's Suncoast)
