Suse 9.2 - drbd - aktueller SMP Kernel -Problem
Andreas
Hum, it's an english mailing list (the e stands for english) and there is
a german one (suse-linux@suse.com if I'm not wrong).
Anyway, check on drbd's mailing list because I remember some problem
between one of the last drbd's version and some suse's kernel.
I don't know whether you use an rpm or compile drbd, but if you compiled
it by hand (there is a reference to 'uname -r').
For version 0.6.x, the instructions are:
build the module
l# cd drbd-0.6.13/drbd # kernel module sub directory
l# make clean all
BTW, this expects the kernel source to be in /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build
== Build DRBD user space tools ==
# cd /usr/src/drbd-0.6.13/user
# make
== Install it ==
If the above steps went ok, you just need to install it.
all# cd /usr/src/drbd-0.6.13
all# make install
