Is there any plan to include support for this WLAN chipset?, it's provided by the manufacturer and GPL as i could read. It's listed on http://en.opensuse.org/Wishlist_Drivers for some time now... Is there any newer official channel for feature requests? Ciro -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I think it's the same one that Realtek offers (it seems they provided documentation to the developer), i was asking if, given the code is offered on the manufacturer's site, it could be included on the next release of the distro. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=227858 See in particular comment #1; the driver will not be included in opensuse (or put back in, since it seems to have been in 10.0) until it is part of the mainstream kernel. -- The best way to accelerate a computer running Windows is at 9.81 m/s² -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Well, tried to contact the module autor, suggesting him to push his code upstream but didn't receive a reply in a while, maybe i should try to build an kmp as soon as i find time to dig the docs.... I think you'd better ask these type of questions in the factory list. There are some developpers there, at least. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
