Is there any RealPlayer available on the ftp site ? It's my DVD but not via apt-get ?

the realplayer on the dvd is quite old, for an updated one visit

read the instructions before you install though, real don't provide their latest players in .rpm, just .tar.gz, so you need to do some work.
