[opensuse] 10.2 boxed set arrived
I just arrived home from work, and what a surprise: my 10.2 boxed set was waiting for me. And I never received a shipping notice from Digital River. Go figure..... Hopefully the rest of you who are waiting will receive your orders soon. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Thank you all for the fine updates on a) your order status, or lack thereof (in the other thread), and now b) letting us all know that your orders are now being filled. However, it is all quite unnecessary. It would have been much more instructive to be able to read something about your experiences in installing it, but even that is not necessary, unless you're having problems. -- The best way to accelerate a computer running Windows is at 9.81 m/s² -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

However, it is all quite unnecessary. It would have been much more instructive to be able to read something about your experiences in installing it, but even that is not necessary, unless you're having problems. For one, I didn't start this thread, and my other two threads did describe an installation issue...since we couldn't GET the dang release in the first place.
re this thread...I'm still waiting, and I ordered on 12/12. Perhaps it will show up tomorrow at the office...I can only hope, it appears. It certainly points to a bug in the delivery system...planned or not...when overseas customers reported overnight deliveries while we in the States have had to stare at our 10.1 box and wonder "why?"! Well, by golly, it arrived at work today! So far, installed on Thinkpad R41 with no difficulty, other than not completing the update sources during the install phase. KDE is much faster than on 9.3, I might just have to use it instead of fvwm!
I am VERY much impressed with all the hard work you've all done to correct the 10.1 release!
