Is there a way to run the SMTP daemon for Postfix from xinetd? Does someone have an example xinetd entry? I was not able to locate anything when searching through Google or the SuSE support database. Thanks, in advance. -- Robert Wohlfarth rjwohlfar@galaxyinternet.net "Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?" -- Matthew 6:25b

Postfix has its own "xinetd" that is the master daemon. So basically you don't need xinetd to run postfix. Just type #postfix start to run it.
