Greetings List; I've been using a Yamaha CDR4416SZ (scsi) with SuSE since 7.2 however after install of 9.0 and suddenly it doesn't work. At first I thought my burner (quite old) had finally failed and purchased a DVD+/-RW drive. I found this didn't work either. I've tried compiling cdrttools from sources to no avail. Fails during complilation. I went back down to 8.2 and magically the burner works, and I can compile cdrtools. Back to 9.0 and I can do neither. Anyone have any ideas how I can remove ALL traces of a modified cdrttols and the supporting libs to go plain vanilla source? I've tried dumping the compiled bins from 8.2 on 9 to no avail. Not enough info. What errors are you getting? Charles -- "On the Internet, no one knows you're using Windows NT" (Submitted by Ramiro Estrugo, restrugo@fateware.com)

Thanks Pagan
The latest cdrtools-2.01a25.tar.gz compiles fine, I also had failures with some of the recent previous ones. "Gmake" followed by "Gmake INS_BASE=/usr install". I used it yesterday to cut a data CD. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce .... Hamradio G3VBV and keen Flyer Linux Only Shop.
