I did a ftp install of 8.2 fresh (sorry, wallet is empty for the moment) and found that kuickshow is no longer available? I really miss kuickshow with it functionality to step through all the image files in the directory. Is there anywhere that I can find kuickshow for 8.2 or is there any other viewer which having the similar function? Pls advise. Thank you. Dennis@sg.

It's still available in kdegraphics3 :) For searching a packet I'd recommend downloading pub/suse/i386/8.2/ARCHIVES.gz and then use zgrep to search for a file, e.g. 'zgrep kuickshow ARCHIVES.gz'. Or copy ARCHIVES.gz to /var/lib/pin/ and the call 'pin' to search for a file. You have to copy the file manually as pin would try to install it from dvd/cdrom if it's not present in /var/lib/pin. Install either kdegraphics3 or kdegraphics3-extra. It depends on which version KDE3. I just used it a few minutes ago. -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: http://www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871 God said, I AM that I AM.
