leap15.5 - /etc/gai.conf ?
My Leap 15.5 system doesn't seem to have /etc/gai.conf ?? -- Per Jessen, Zürich (12.2°C) Member, openSUSE Heroes (2016 - present) We're hiring - https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Heroes

It's not there by default - not 15.5 specific, on Tumbleweed it isn't either. You can create it if needed.
I have it on Tumbleweed, both machines. Never touched it. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (9.0°C) Member, openSUSE Heroes (2016 - present) We're hiring - https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Heroes

My guess - maybe gai.conf stopped being created at some point. Older boxes will still have it, but a fresh install won't. My leap 15.5 is brandnew, installed from scratch. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (9.0°C) Member, openSUSE Heroes (2016 - present) We're hiring - https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Heroes

Ok... If the file exists, is it used? In 15.5 I see the file is missing, but the man page is there. And a sample file in doc folder. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.4 x86_64 at Telcontar)
