Hello everybody, Installing SuSE6.3 went nicely, but I keep having some problems, among which my printer problems are the most prominent. Following initial error messages I installed the S.u.S.E. 6.2 version of lprold. Now, print jobs finally end up in the queue. Nothing comes out of the printer, however. If I try to print directly to the device (cat test.text > /dev/lp0) I am informed that the device is busy. The printer itself is a HPdeskjet 600, configured with the cdj500 driver.
