[SLE] Transmit error in my syslog
Hi, I'm getting these messages over and over again in my syslog. This is a system I don't have psychical contact with, so any help solving this remotely would greatly be appreciated. This is the message: kernel: eth0: Transmit error, Tx status register 82. I have a clue: it's my NIC! But what does this mean, what could be the cause and is it remotely solveable? Thanks in advance! Hmm, these messages look like a physical problem (cabling, connectors) to me. Have someone check the cabling of this box.
