cpepc210-3:/etc # /usr/sbin/rcxinetd start Starting INET services. (xinetd) done
We'll see whether it keeps running in the long term! Ok, this only starts it for the current session. If you reboot, it will not start. YaST/System/System Services (Run level editor) Scroll down to xinetd, and make sure it is enabled. (Or go to expert mode and enable it for run levels 3 and 5).
