When I boot my SuSE 7.3-Server, I always get this message in 'boot.msg': Running /etc/init.d/boot.local warning: commands will be executed using /bin/sh job 29 at 2002-09-01 00:56 Can't open /var/run/atd.pid to signal atd. No atd running? warning: commands will be executed using /bin/sh job 30 at 2002-09-01 00:57 Can't open /var/run/atd.pid to signal atd. No atd running? warning: commands will be executed using /bin/sh job 31 at 2002-09-01 00:57 Can't open /var/run/atd.pid to signal atd. No atd running? warning: commands will be executed using /bin/sh job 32 at 2002-09-01 00:56 Can't open /var/run/atd.pid to signal atd. No atd running? done What is going wrong here? Is your at daemon running/starting at boot? Is it installed? If not, either install it or make sure it starts (for 7.3, maybe yast>System configuration>bottom choice [can't remember anymore]).
