¿Can one suggest a how-to on building a mail server?
I have been away from Linux for a couple of months but am now back with a
vengeance.
I have installed SuSE 8.2 Pro w/o problems and wish to set-up
fetchmail/postfix and/or cyrus.
Whenever I have done this before, I have used the postfix aliases database
to distribute incoming mail.
Is there an alternative which would allow my users to define their own
aliases?
Also, how could I automate the distribution of each users mail to their IMAP
folder (once I have that set up correctly)?
If these questions are a bit vague, please forgive me and point me to a
suitably hand-holding how-to or other documentation.
Thanks in advance

A good start is /usr/share/doc/packages/ look in the directories postfix and cyrus-imapd. In the Cyrus-Dir is a doc to get it work with postfix. -- Andreas

How about these two: /usr/share/doc/howto/en/Mail-Administrator-HOWTO.gz /usr/share/doc/howto/en/Mail-User-HOWTO.gz
